SabrTrader for Lucid Trading

A trade copier and order flow charts for Lucid Trading Rithmic accounts

Lucid Trading permits trade copiers and makes you responsible for every mistake the software makes. SabrTrader's copier always copies the stop and target, checks each follower against Rithmic and writes down what it did.

Lucid puts the risk on you

A copier you can check after every trade

Lucid's Rithmic setup guide adds one line to its copier permission: traders should make sure orders have executed and cancelled correctly after each trade. The SabrTrader copier is built around that check.

  • Protection always copies. A copied trade always carries its stop and target. There is no setting to turn that off.
  • It checks against the broker side. The copier keeps comparing each follower with what Rithmic reports and corrects drift after a partial fill, a rejected order or a reconnect.
  • A monitor and an audit log. Watch the copier live, then read back what was copied and why, trade by trade.
  • Pause and Flatten All. One button stops copying. One button flattens every account.

The copier runs on your PC, so the PC has to stay on while you trade.

The rule that catches copier users

Lucid's hedging rule, and what the copier does about it

Lucid's help centre, checked in October 2026, prohibits hedging across multiple accounts held by the same user, between different users and between different firms.

  • Correlated markets count. Lucid says you cannot go long and short different contracts with correlated assets in separate accounts. Its example is ES in one account and NQ in another.
  • Minis against micros count. Long in the mini and short in the micro of the same contract, in separate accounts, is prohibited.
  • The consequence. Lucid describes a reset of the accounts to the prior day's balance. After repeated offences the accounts are breached.
Straight talk

The copier sends followers in the master's direction, even when you remap ES on the master to MES on a smaller account. Switch on hedge prevention and it refuses any order that would put two accounts on the same connection on opposite sides of a product, across contract months too. It works per product. Opposite positions in correlated markets such as ES and NQ are yours to avoid.

Order flow on your Lucid data feed

The SuperDOM shows the queue at each price, while the liquidity heatmap paints resting orders over time. For what actually traded, footprint charts show bid and ask volume inside each bar, and they're filled in from Rithmic history when the chart opens.

Lucid permits automated systems, and in SabrTrader a strategy can be the master account that the others copy. Lucid's rules still apply to everything it does, and so does your responsibility for it.

The order flow page has the rest, and the pricing page tells you which plan includes which tool.

Connect a Lucid Trading Rithmic account

  • 1. Sign the Rithmic agreements once. Lucid's guide has you log in to R|Trader Pro and sign the Rithmic agreements before any other platform will connect. After that, R|Trader Pro does not need to stay open.
  • 2. Copy your user ID and password from the Lucid dashboard.
  • 3. In SabrTrader, open Connections in the Control Panel, choose Futures and then Rithmic, and add a new connection.
  • 4. Select the system LucidTrading and the gateway Chicago Area. Lucid's guide warns against picking a default Rithmic server. Leave the transport on R|Protocol.
  • 5. Save and connect. Open a chart, then open the trade copier, pick the master and tick the accounts that follow.

Lucid traders ask

Lucid Trading questions we get

Does Lucid Trading allow trade copiers?

Lucid's help centre says trade copiers and automated trading systems are permitted, as checked in October 2026. The trader is fully responsible for software errors. Confirm it in Lucid's current rules.

Which Rithmic system do I select for Lucid Trading?

LucidTrading, with the Chicago Area gateway. Those are the values in Lucid's own Rithmic setup guide.

Is SabrTrader an official Lucid Trading platform?

No. SabrTrader is not on Lucid's list of supported platforms and is not affiliated with Lucid. Whether you may use it is Lucid's decision, so ask Lucid if you want certainty.

Can I copy ES on one Lucid account to MES on another?

Yes. The copier can remap the symbol and set a size multiplier per account, and the follower trades in the same direction as the master. Lucid prohibits being long the mini and short the micro across separate accounts, so never trade a follower by hand against the master.

How many Lucid accounts can I run at once?

Up to 10 active evaluation accounts and 5 active funded accounts per household, with a maximum of 10 across both, by Lucid's rules. Follower accounts per SabrTrader plan are on the pricing page.
