SabrTrader vs DeepCharts

A DeepCharts alternative in one app, on one plan.

DeepCharts splits the job in two: Deepchart for charts and footprint, DeepDom for the liquidity heatmap, each with its own subscription. SabrTrader puts the heatmap, the footprint, the ladder and the order ticket on one chart, in one plan you can pay for by the month.

SabrTrader chart with the liquidity heatmap behind the candles and the per-order SuperDOM ladder docked on the right, both fed by Rithmic Market by Order data

One chart, one window: liquidity heatmap behind the candles and the per-order SuperDOM ladder on the right, both reading the same Rithmic Market by Order stream.

The short version

Why DeepCharts users look at SabrTrader

Both are order flow platforms for futures traders, and both work with Rithmic prop accounts. SabrTrader does it in a single application and keeps going where DeepCharts stops: custom code, live strategies and AI.

SabrTrader is the better fit when

  • You want one app and one bill. Heatmap, MBO tools, footprint and charts are all in Pro. No second product to buy for the heatmap.
  • You want to pay monthly, or once. Month to month, yearly, or a perpetual licence.
  • You write your own indicators. The C# SDK is here today, with hot reload.
  • You want strategies that trade live. Build them without code, or let the generator evolve and stress-test them.
  • You want an AI that reads your chart, with your own model key.

What to know before you move

  • Your login works here. The same Rithmic or dxFeed credentials, prop firm accounts included.
  • You can start for free. Charts, 200+ indicators, replay and the backtester cost nothing, for as long as you like.
  • Nothing to cancel on day one. Run it next to DeepCharts on the same market and compare.
  • One licence, two computers. Ultimate and Perpetual run on your desk PC and your laptop at the same time.
  • Mac and Linux are on the way. Both versions are planned for Q1 2027.
Discord message from skipstream: I've used quite a few trading platforms over the years and Sabr just feels like a much more modern way of doing things. It's fast, charts are really responsive, and everything feels like part of one system rather than having to rely on loads of third-party plugins. I genuinely wouldn't want to go back to the older platforms now.

What it costs

One subscription instead of two

To get charts, footprint and a liquidity heatmap from DeepCharts you subscribe to two products. In SabrTrader that is one plan.

SabrTrader DeepCharts
Charts, footprint and heatmap, one year Pro, $849 Deepchart Full $684 plus DeepDom $468, together $1,152
Shortest commitment One month, $85 Three months
Free plan $0 forever. Charts, 200+ indicators, replay, backtester, copier for two accounts No free desktop plan listed

DeepCharts prices are the yearly-billed launch-offer prices shown on its pricing pages in October 2026. Market data is billed separately on both platforms.

One app

The heatmap lives on the chart you trade from

No switching between two programs to line up a level. The heatmap sits behind your candles, the footprint is one click away, and the SuperDOM is docked to the same price axis.

  • One order book feeds all three, so they never disagree.
  • Add any indicator to the heatmap chart: VWAP, a volume profile, or your own.
  • Iceberg detection and the per-order queue on the ladder.
  • Record MBO data for the instruments you choose.

"You can log your favourite instruments with true MBO from Rithmic, not simulated as per NinjaTrader and Tradovate. This is huge. It easily kept up with NQ market open with no apparent drops."

The footprint

A footprint you can make your own

Start from one of 14 templates, then change every colour, column and threshold and save the result as your own template.

  • Signals drawn on the bars: stacked imbalances, absorption, exhaustion, stopping volume, big trades.
  • Works on every bar type, including tick, range and renko.
  • Alerts on footprint events, to sound, email or Telegram.

"Never thought I'd be able to scalp off 3 second heatmap charts with the required indicators and not freeze."

Where DeepCharts stops

From a pattern to a strategy that trades

DeepCharts lets you describe a pattern and backtest it. SabrTrader takes the next steps: optimise it, validate it out of sample, and run it live at your broker.

  • AlgoStudio Pro builds entries, exits and risk rules by pointing and clicking, on any indicator including order flow.
  • The Auto Strategy Builder evolves thousands of candidates and stress-tests the survivors with Monte Carlo.
  • Prop firm presets set trailing drawdown and daily loss limits for your account type.
  • The C# SDK is there when you want to write the indicator yourself.

Only here

An AI that reads the order flow for you

Ask for your bias into the New York open and the AI pulls the bars, the footprint, the delta and your open positions before it answers. It can draw what it found, and nothing changes on the chart until you approve it.

  • Bring your own model key. Claude, GPT, Gemini, Grok and others, at the provider's price.
  • It never tells you to buy or sell. It does the reading. You make the call.
Discord message from Emene: I swear, the things you can do now with Sabr in just 5 mins... I have barely done anything and this is what I get for minimal effort. It analyses all the macro environment, the auction market theory framework and the orderflow by itself and refreshes annotations directly on the chart automatically every five minutes.

Before you ask

DeepCharts users ask us this

Do I need a separate product for the heatmap?

No. The liquidity heatmap, Market by Order tools, footprint and SuperDOM are all part of the Pro plan, in the same application.

Does SabrTrader work with my prop firm account?

If your firm gives you a Rithmic login, yes, and several logins can be connected at once. Tradovate-based accounts are not supported yet, and the reason is not on our side: NinjaTrader, which owns Tradovate, does not currently let third-party platforms such as SabrTrader connect to it. NinjaTrader plans to open that up in Q1 2027, and we intend to be the first to add Tradovate support when it does.

Can I pay month to month?

Yes. Pro is $85 a month and Ultimate $115, and you can cancel any time. Yearly billing saves two months, and there is a pay-once Perpetual licence.

Can I write my own indicators?

Yes, today. The SDK is plain C# with hot reload, so a rebuild shows up on the chart without restarting.

Can I use it on two computers?

Ultimate and Perpetual run on two computers at the same time. DeepCharts' help centre describes one active session per licence.

Which feed do I need for Market by Order?

Rithmic or Databento. On other feeds the heatmap and ladder use Level 2 depth.

Can I run both for a while?

Yes. SabrTrader installs next to DeepCharts and uses the same Rithmic login.

One app. One plan. Everything on one chart.

Connect your Rithmic login, put the heatmap behind your candles, and see whether you still need a second program.
