SabrTrader for Bulenox

Using SabrTrader with Bulenox accounts: order flow, several accounts and the copier rules

Bulenox runs on Rithmic, and SabrTrader connects to Rithmic directly. Bulenox also has strict rules on third-party trading software and commercial automation tools. Read them below before you copy a single trade.

Technically yes, but ask first

Does SabrTrader work with Bulenox?

Technically yes. Bulenox accounts use a Rithmic login, and SabrTrader connects to Rithmic for charts, Level 2 depth, Market by Order data and order entry. But Bulenox's terms say third-party trading technology must be approved by Bulenox before use, and its FAQ says commercial automation tools are not allowed. Ask Bulenox first.

What Bulenox's rules mean for a SabrTrader user

SabrTrader is commercial software sold to the public. We won't tell you it's permitted at Bulenox, because Bulenox's own pages don't say that.

  • The copier and strategies. Bulenox's FAQ permits bots, algorithms and trade copiers that you built yourself for your own use, and says commercial or publicly distributed automation tools are not allowed. SabrTrader's copier is part of a commercial product.
  • Approval comes first. The terms require Bulenox management to review and approve third-party trading technology before you use it.
  • The $100 fee. It applies when you connect to Rithmic through a third-party API or Trader Composite Software. Bulenox's pages do not say which platforms fall under it. Ask Bulenox whether it applies to SabrTrader.
  • No support from Bulenox. Bulenox states it is not responsible for outages, malfunctions or losses from third-party software.
Straight talk

Write to Bulenox support before you connect. Name SabrTrader, say which parts you want to use (charts and manual orders, the copier, a strategy) and keep the reply. If Bulenox says no to the copier, do not run it on a Bulenox account.

Without the copier

What SabrTrader does for manual trading on Rithmic

  • The SuperDOM shows the queue at each price from Rithmic's per-order book and flags icebergs that keep refilling.
  • The liquidity heatmap paints resting orders over time, so you can tell a wall that holds from one that gets pulled.
  • Footprint charts show bid and ask volume at every price inside each bar, filled in from Rithmic history when the chart opens.
  • Risk Master adds daily loss and trade limits with a hard day-lock inside SabrTrader. It does not replace Bulenox's own drawdown or daily loss limit.

You'll find more on the order flow page. For which plan includes which tool, see the pricing page.

How Bulenox sets up accounts

One Rithmic User ID for everything

One profile, one User ID

Bulenox's help centre says each trader may have only one Bulenox profile and one Rithmic User ID. Every account you buy appears under it.

Five Master-level accounts

Bulenox allows up to five active Master-level accounts in total: Master, Fast Track and Momentum Master in any combination. Qualification Accounts are not limited.

One connection in SabrTrader

The accounts share a login, so you add one Rithmic connection. A login from another firm goes next to it as a second connection.

Connect a Bulenox Rithmic account

  • 1. Get Bulenox's answer first. Ask Bulenox support whether you may use SabrTrader and whether the third-party fee applies.
  • 2. Do Bulenox's Rithmic setup. Its help centre has you log in to R|Trader Pro with the User ID and password from the Member's Area and accept the two Rithmic agreements.
  • 3. In SabrTrader, open Connections in the Control Panel, choose Futures and then Rithmic, and add a new connection.
  • 4. Enter the same User ID and password, and select the system and gateway Bulenox gives you. Its help centre names Rithmic Paper Trading and Chicago. Leave the transport on R|Protocol.
  • 5. Save and connect, then open a chart and add the footprint, the heatmap or the SuperDOM.

SabrTrader's system list also has an entry named Bulenox. Use the system Bulenox's instructions name. Every field is explained in Connecting SabrTrader to Rithmic.

What people check first

Bulenox questions we get

Does Bulenox allow trade copiers?

Bulenox's FAQ says trade copiers are permitted only when they are user-built tools for the account owner's personal use. It says commercial, shared, rented or publicly distributed automation tools are not allowed. That is Bulenox's wording as checked in October 2026.

Can I use the SabrTrader copier on Bulenox accounts?

Not without Bulenox's approval. SabrTrader is commercial software, and Bulenox's terms require its management to approve third-party trading technology before use. Ask Bulenox in writing. How the copier works is on the trade copier page.

Which Rithmic system does Bulenox use?

Bulenox's help centre says to select Rithmic Paper Trading with the Chicago gateway.

Does Bulenox charge for third-party platforms?

Bulenox charges $100 a month when you connect to Rithmic through a third-party API or Trader Composite Software. Its pages do not list which platforms that covers, so ask Bulenox whether it applies to SabrTrader before you connect.

Do I pay extra for market data in SabrTrader?

SabrTrader doesn't sell market data. It shows what your Bulenox Rithmic login is permitted to receive. Bulenox states that non-professional traders are not charged separately for exchange market data on the Qualification Account.

Look at the platform first, then ask Bulenox

SabrTrader starts on a free delayed data feed, so you can look around the platform before you connect any prop account. The Free plan has no end date.
