A complete price-action trading system on your chart
Most price-action indicators draw a few swings and leave the hard part, the entries, the stops, the sizing, up to you. TDU Price Action is different. It reads the market, marks objective long and short entries, sets the stop and the target, sizes the position, and then keeps a running scorecard of how the whole system performs on your instrument. It is a rules-based trading plan you can see.
Discretionary price-action trading is powerful, but it is also where most traders drown in subjectivity. Was that a valid entry? Where does the stop go? How big should the position be? Is this setup actually any good on this market? TDU Price Action answers all of it, objectively and the same way every time. It is a full trading system, ported faithfully from the well-known TDU methodology, that turns price action into clear, rules-based signals with defined risk and a live measure of its own edge. This page walks through every feature and every setting so you can see the whole system before you install it.
TDU Price Action ships with every paid SabrTrader plan at no extra cost, bundled with the full premium indicator suite and AI tools rather than sold as a separate add-on. Prefer to try first? Start on the free tier. See plans and pricing.
Why traders choose it
Entries, not just analysis
It does not stop at drawing structure. It marks the actual long and short entries, first and second, so there is no ambiguity about where the setup is.
Risk defined for you
Every signal comes with a stop-loss and a target, sized by your rules, so you always know the risk before you take the trade instead of guessing after.
Proof, not promises
A built-in statistics panel tracks every signal the system would have taken and reports the win rate, profit factor and net result on your instrument. See the edge before you trade it.
Objective and consistent
The same rules, applied the same way, on every bar. No talking yourself into a bad trade and no missing a good one because you blinked.
Built for every price-action trader
The discretionary trader
You already read price action but want structure and objectivity. The signals confirm your read and keep you disciplined, while you still make the final call.
The scalper
Fast, defined entries with a tight stop and a quick scalp target plus a runner, exactly the rhythm of an intraday price-action scalper.
The rules-based trader
You want a plan you can follow without second-guessing. This is that plan, drawn on the chart with the stop, target and size already worked out.
The learner
Watching the system mark entries, stops and outcomes bar after bar is one of the fastest ways to internalize how disciplined price-action trading actually works.
Objective entry signals
This is the heart of the system. Instead of leaving you to decide whether a pullback is tradable, TDU Price Action marks the entries for you, drawn from the same price-action logic every time. It distinguishes first entries from second entries, and long from short, so you always know exactly what kind of setup you are looking at.
- Entry long and entry short (EL / ES). The core signals, marked with an arrow and a label at the price and bar where the setup triggers.
- First entries (FEL / FES). The first entry off a fresh turn, often the highest-quality signal in a new move.
- Second entries (2EL / 2ES). The second chance after a pullback, a staple of disciplined trend trading.
- Higher entries. Optionally surface additional entries deeper into a move for traders who scale in.
You control how many entries to display and where the labels sit, so the chart shows exactly the setups you trade and nothing you do not.
How the system finds an entry
Behind each label is a consistent, mechanical read of price action. The system tracks the swing structure, counts the bars of each leg, and waits for a pullback against the trend to complete before it arms an entry in the trend's direction. A first entry fires off a fresh turn, when the market has just changed direction and the first pullback sets up. A second entry fires on the next pullback, the classic continuation. It can ignore engulfing bars so a single violent candle does not fake a signal, and it resets its count at double tops and bottoms so a genuine reversal starts the read fresh. None of that is left to your judgment in the heat of the moment. It is applied identically on every bar, which is exactly what makes the results measurable.
Risk, stops, targets and sizing, worked out for you
An entry without a plan is a gamble. Every signal the system marks comes with its trade management already calculated, and you can see all of it on the chart. Turn on the risk and contract labels and each entry tells you the stop distance in ticks and the position size it would take.
- Stop-loss, your way. Place the stop above or below the signal bar, a fixed number of ticks, or an ATR-based distance, with a maximum-risk cap so a wide setup never blows your risk budget.
- Scalp target and runner. Take a first target quickly and let a runner ride, with targets defined in ticks, ATR or a risk-reward multiple.
- Position sizing. Size by fixed contracts, a fixed dollar amount, or a percentage of capital, with a maximum-contracts cap, for both the scalp and the runner.
- Trade management. Run the system's internal management or hand execution to your own ATM strategy.
See the edge: the live performance panel
This is the feature that sets TDU Price Action apart from every indicator that just draws arrows. As it marks signals across your chart, it tracks every one of them as a trade and reports the results in a statistics panel: total trades, winners and losers, win ratio, profit factor, gross and net profit in ticks and dollars, average win, average loss and average stop. In other words, it backtests the system on your instrument, live, right in front of you.
No more taking a system on faith. You can see, on your market and your timeframe, how often it wins, how big the wins are versus the losses, and whether the whole thing is actually profitable, before you ever place a live order. That is a level of honesty most indicators never give you.
It also turns tuning into an experiment instead of a guess. Change the stop-loss method, tighten the target, switch the sizing, toggle the trap filter, and watch the win rate and profit factor move in response. You are optimizing against real, marked-up results on your own instrument, not a vendor's cherry-picked backtest on a market you never trade. By the time you take the system live, you have already seen how it behaves through trends, chop and reversals, and you know the settings that fit your instrument and your risk tolerance. Every profit and loss is also printed on the chart at the trade that produced it, in green for a win and red for a loss, so you can scroll back through history and study exactly where the system excelled and where it struggled.
The market structure it is built on
Underneath the signals is a full read of market structure, and you can surface it whenever you want context. The system labels higher highs, higher lows, lower highs and lower lows, and marks double tops and double bottoms, so you can see the swing structure the entries are built on and confirm the trend with your own eyes.
Traps: avoid the setups that fail
Not every clean-looking entry is a good one. Some are traps, moves that lure traders in right before reversing. TDU Price Action flags these trap conditions so you can stand aside from the setups most likely to fail, which is often worth as much as the entries you take. Combined with the win-rate panel, you can see exactly how much the trap filter improves the system.
Congestion zones
Price-action systems get chopped up in congestion, the tight, directionless ranges where breakouts fail and stops get hunted. The indicator detects and marks congestion zones so you know when the market is balanced and the trend entries are lower quality, letting you size down or step aside until price breaks free.
Two-legged pullbacks and higher entries
The two-legged pullback is one of the most reliable continuation patterns in all of price-action trading, a pullback that makes two pushes against the trend before resuming. The indicator can draw these two-legged-pullback lines and surface the higher entries that come with deeper pullbacks, so you can add to a position or catch a later entry with the same objective logic as the first.
Trend context and a bar counter
Every signal reads better with context. A trend-colored moving average, green while price is above and red while below, keeps your bias honest so you favor longs in an uptrend and shorts in a downtrend. An optional bar counter numbers the swings so you can follow the count the way experienced price-action traders do. Small touches, but they keep you on the right side of the market.

Take the entries in the trend
Favor long entries above the trend EMA and short entries below it, and let the first and second entry labels tell you exactly where. You are trading defined setups in the direction of the trend, with the stop already placed for you.
Respect the traps and the congestion
When the system flags a trap or you are inside a congestion zone, stand aside or size down. Avoiding the low-quality setups is half of what makes a price-action system profitable, and here both are marked for you.
Scalp and hold a runner
Take the scalp target quickly to lock in a win, and let the runner ride for the larger move with its own target. The system defines both, so you get the consistency of a quick win and the upside of the trend.
Use first entries for reversals, second for continuation
A first entry fires right after the market turns, so it is your earliest, highest-reward setup, and also the one that needs the tightest discipline on the stop. A second entry comes on the following pullback, once the new direction has proven itself, so it trades at slightly worse price but with better odds. Knowing which is which, marked clearly on the chart, lets you match the setup to your risk appetite instead of treating every signal the same.
Trust the statistics, not your feelings
Before you trade the system live, let the statistics panel run on your instrument and timeframe. If the win rate and profit factor hold up across a good sample of trades, you have real evidence of an edge, not a hunch. And when a run of losses inevitably comes, the panel keeps you anchored to the long-run numbers instead of abandoning a good system at exactly the wrong moment, which is how most traders sabotage themselves. A system you can measure is a system you can actually stick to.
Works on every market and every timeframe
TDU Price Action works on index and commodity futures, stocks, ETFs and crypto, and on every timeframe. The screenshots on this page are an ES five-minute chart, a natural home for intraday price-action scalping, but the same entries, stops and statistics read a one-minute chart and a daily chart just as clearly. Because it is a native SabrTrader indicator, it renders fast and updates on every bar, so your signals and stats are always current.
